Price Range: $40-80
Retail: $90
Features:
- Round & wide forefoot
- Minimum cushioning for court feel
Feel:
This is a really good shoe for the performance and the price. I got this pair at a Nike outlet for $30 with a sale, but expect to pay around $50 online which you still can't beat. The feel reminds me of an earlier Kyrie shoe, similar to the Kyrie 2's with its cushioning, good court feel. The support is great and the lace lock down is pretty good. Its a very light shoe. One thing I dislike is the minimal heel cushioning. If you have followed our reviews, you know I am a fan of extra heel cushioning and this shoe doesn't have much. Beside that, I really like the feel.
Traction:
The Kyrie flytrap series always has ok traction. The traction pattern is similar, if not the same to the flytrap IV. With InstaGripz, you won't slip on the shoe will have a stick to the court.
Pros:
- Light
- Wide footing
Cons:
- Minimum heel cushioning
- Ok traction
Overall:
Nice shoe, the price is awesome, would 100% recommend.
